My trip to Jordan was half dream and half reality. I look back at my photos and can’t believe I was there. Petra has been always on my bucket list of places that I must see before I farewell but I wanted to do it right.
The theme was a wandering princess looking for the treasury but Petra is an entire city waiting to be discovered.
My search for the right dress was in full force. I looked literally everywhere in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and I was still not happy with the options I had found.
You know when you are looking for a dress that can make you feel a certain way? Well, I eventually found mine at Contessa Dubai. Actually, I found more than one in their store, I had a very hard time choosing which one to go with because every dress was uniquely beautiful. They have a wide selection of well-known designers from around the world. They are one of the very few stores in the UAE that do carry international brands in a one-stop-shop.
I selected two gorgeous dresses one by Ashley Lauren and the second one is by Tatyana Aceeva. Both dresses were stunning, to say the least. All I needed were few alternations done and Contessa was more than happy to provide alternations inhouse. Within a day or two, both of my dresses were ready to be picked up. I was over the moon excited to take them with me on my journey to Lost City.
