Best Body Oils Review

1. Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil

This luxurious body oil is one heck of an investment. I heard many beauty gurus rave about this so I wanted to try it and see for myself. First the smell is very Tom Ford, and the packaging is so boujee. The oil itself is very hydrating and gives this soft glow from within. You will feel like a million bucks wearing it on your skin. The oil contains micro glitters to give you that extra beaming shine. I really love the spray bottle as it makes applying it so easy and less messy unlike other oils. I think if you’re looking for an intense glow, pair this oil with a bronzing shimmer of some sort. It’ll blind all the haters and the scent is very sultry, I’d give it an A.

Cruelty free: Unclear. They wrote me saying they don’t test on animals but other bloggers say that they do when required by law. Do your research.

2. Nars Monoi Body Glow I

I got the tinted version of this oil just to see if it works. I freakin’ love the smell of this oil. I like it more than Tom Ford’s. It smells like vacation. It’s authentic Monoi de Tahiti oil, which comes straight from French Polynesia. It’s a blend of native plants with high quality coconut oil. You need to shake it before applying. I found the packaging not as good as the Tom Ford. It doesn’t have a spray nozzle and the glass bottle can be a bit daunting if your hands are full of oil while working the product into the skin. It gives a nice sheen and bronze glow to the skin. The only thing you have to be aware of is that it rubs off on clothes if it’s not 100% dry. Need to wait for it to dry and then get dressed but be careful still as this one has a tint. It would wash off easily with water.

Nars has the same oil in clear color, which is a great alternative for everyday glow I’d give it an A. I really wish they made it with spray nozzle.

3. Herbivore Jasmine Glowing Hydration Body Oil

I love this brand for many reasons. It’s vegan, cruelty free, noncomedogenic, and formulated without silicone, fragrance, gluten, artificial ingredients, unnatural preservatives, and fillers. The oil is very lightweight, great for summer time if you want extra moisture but without all the glitter. It’s just pure Jasmine Sambac oil blended with natural botanicals. I like mixing it with my body moisturizer to add more hydration. I am not big on floral scents especially Jasmine but the smell dissipates after few minutes. It’s more affordable than the above two products and comes in a spray glass bottle. It absorbs into the skin so quickly and doesn’t leave a film or leave you feeling greasy. I’d give it an A- due to scent.
