The Best Toners for healthy, Clear and Glowy Skin

Let me start by saying that I wasn’t a strong believer in toners. I always thought they were unnecessary and a waste of money. I tried few in the past but I broke out badly because most toners contain some kind of alcohol even if it doesn’t explicitly say it has alcohol in it. Alcohol dries out the skin and causes breakouts to form. I came across the following options that are 100% alcohol-free, all natural, vegan, cruelty-free, noncomedogenic, packed with antioxidants and other good stuff.

Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera

I bought this toner after reading tons of good reviews online, everyone was raving about it. I had to try it for myself to see if it’s worth all the hype plus it’s super affordable ($8-9). It’s a good size bottle and will last you a long time. The smell is super refreshing. It helped me tremendously with keeping small bumps at bay and controlled my acne very well.

The ingredients are so simple, organic, and clean: Purified water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Certified Organic Filet Of Aloe Vera), Glycerin (Vegetable), Fragrance (Natural Rose), Hamamelis Virginiana Extract (made from Certified Organic Witch Hazel), Rosa Centifolia (Rose) Flower Water, Citric Acid, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract.

Can’t really complain about the packaging for the price you pay but I just wish it was in a spray bottle rather than having to use a cotton pad to spread it on with. Aside from that, I highly recommend it and will repurchase over and over again, it’s one of the best toners out there.

Herbivore Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner

This toner is simply amazing. This is my third bottle, I love the way it makes my skin feel. It contains very clean ingredients such as jasmine water infused with green tea, willow bark, and witch hazel, which are perfect ingredients for combo and blemish prone skin types. White willow bark contains natural salicylic acid; helps fight acne, germs, and acts as a natural exfoliant resulting in an even skin texture.

It comes in a spray glass bottle, feels super luxurious. The green tea smell can be a bit overpowering but it goes away within few seconds. This stuff is amazing if you have combo/oily skin, give it a try.

Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist

I use this toner as a makeup setting spray. It works wonders. It’s especially great if you have dry skin or just feel dehydrated and need an extra boost of moisture and glow. It doesn’t clog the pores because it’s oil free. It contains 100% natural ingredients such as coconut water and aloe leaf water with hibiscus flower petals infusion to help tone, hydrate, and soften the skin. I love that I can use this as a toner, boost of hydration and a makeup setting spray. I am not a huge fan of the floral scent but it does fade away quickly. For extra hydration, try spraying it on clean skin before you apply makeup and after you apply makeup.
